Eyebrow Lift

The eyebrow descends downwards with age and gives the eyes a tired and unhappy look. They also result in heaviness of the upper eye lid. The outer part of the eyebrow hangs down more than the inner part.

What happens in the surgery?

Usually the surgery is performed under general anesthesia. The patient is asleep throughout the procedure. Eyebrow lift surgery can be performed in two ways depending on the amount of elevation required. If a small amount of raise is required the incision is given in the upper eyelid crease. In case more elevation is required the forehead approach is used in which incision is placed behind the hairline. This incision is well hidden and is  also used for endoscopic brow-lift.
