Introduction to Rhinoplasty

Nose lies on the center of the face and is the most noticeable feature after the eyes.

As beauty lies in the eye of the beholder it is impossible to define a perfect nose. The nose is evaluated in terms of symmetry and proportion relative to the surrounding structures and aestheticians and scientists all around the world have come up with a few standard guidelines to describe the anatomy of a well balanced nose.

Although the standard principles are applicable on all people they do vary depending on the ethnic traits of a person.

There are no perfect noses, just beautiful faces as a whole.

At Kalpana Aesthetics we evaluate the entire face as a whole and suggest the best cutomized treatment plan for you.

Nose Analysis

Downturned mouth corners gives a sad and old look to the face even when you are not sad. This mae the face aesthetically less pleasing.

As we age the collagen and elastin ligaments of the skin reduce making the skin loose simultaneously soft tissue volume loss along with gravity brings the cheek downwards and results in down turned mouth corners.

Another important cause of downturned lip corners or mouth corner is the over activity of DOA muscle. This is a facial muscle that begins from the jaw line and attaches to the corner of the mouth. Its contraction brings the corner of the mouth downwards and closer to the jawline. this easily correctable with anti-wrinkle injections.

At Kalpana Aesthetics we evaluate the entire face as a whole and suggest the best cutomised treatment plan for you.
